The expansion module is designed to connect 16 alarm inputs for sensors and control them from the internal monitor. This module is connected to the internal monitor via RS485 interface between the module and the monitor.
This module can be used in systems if it is necessary to use more inputs for sensors than is provided by the design of the monitor used (4 or 8). And also with monitors that do not have a connection at all for the alarm inputs for sensors, but have a 485 interface for home automation.
